Trinity Grammar Faces Abuse Claims Over Former Staff
The Age has reported that Rightside Legal clients are suing Trinity Grammar over abuse allegations against former teacher Chris Howell.
The Age has reported that Rightside Legal clients are suing Trinity Grammar over abuse allegations against former teacher Chris Howell.
Howell taught at Trinity Grammar for more than 40 years. Despite knowing Howell had been charged by police for sexually abusing a former student, Trinity last year praised Howell as “the best educator we have known”
Howell took his own life in January last year, days before he was to face court on the abuse charges.
The four men we are acting for were abused in the 1960s and 1970s but Howell taught full-time at Trinity until quite recently.
Rightside Legal is also acting for victims of a former Trinity Grammar boarding house master, who worked at the school in the 1970s.
